Hi there, I am looking forward to getting to know you!
I am honored to hold the stories of those I connect with. I believe that the growth process is not about finding a fresh start, but capitalizing on the things that you are already doing well. Because of this, I get excited to work together to slow down and discover the unique strengths that hold a consistent theme across your story. I see counseling as a collaborative process; I believe in pulling on our creativity to find ways to apply those unique strengths to the goals that we will build throughout the counseling process. It is important to me that you experience being valued, seen, encouraged, and known in our time together. It is my hope to create a safe, encouraging, and gentle space to foster growth and exploration. I look forward to the opportunity to support you along your journey!
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a concentration in clinical and counseling studies, from Colorado State University. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my husband, paddle boarding, and spending intentional time with friends. I also love to tap into creativity by making pottery and other forms of art.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
Training & Modalities:
Hi!
I want to thank you for taking the time to read a bit about me!
I am someone who believes in the power of authenticity with ourselves and the people in our lives. I also believe that healing begins when we feel listened to and understood.
I see therapy as a relationship where we get to explore the parts of you that may feel overwhelmed, isolated, uncertain or disconnected—whether from yourself, loved ones, or your life’s purpose. My goal is to help you gently embrace these vulnerable parts, cultivating self-compassion for meaningful healing and transformation.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado. As part of my education to become a licensed professional counselor, I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, pets, playing pickleball, riding my bicycle and getting outside as much as possible.
Training & Modalities:
I believe that, at its best, therapy is a place for us to come alive to our own experience—both the achingly beautiful and seemingly unbearable—with compassion and courage. We are wounded and healed in relationship, and as a therapist it is my profound honor to hear and hold your story, and to walk with you towards whatever goals you want to achieve in the time you share with me. I seek to create a space where you can be deeply heard and fully known without judgment, celebrated and encouraged as you engage with the work of therapy, and challenged and supported as you grow.
I love working with individuals, couples, and families. I approach therapy with a deep concern for personal narrative, the pervasive and multigenerational impact of trauma, the need for the interpersonal construction of meaning, and the healing power of humor. I also appreciate the need for pragmatic solutions—sometimes, we need to address immediate problems before engaging in deeper work. Your goals will always guide the work we do together.
My road—like all roads—has been a winding one. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army and former Combat Medic, hold a bachelor’s from the University of Colorado Denver, and earned my MFA in Creative Writing from Oregon State University. I am currently in my final year pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. When not practicing therapy, I can be found writing and reading fiction, fumbling around in nature, attempting to perfect a recipe, or trying to make my wife laugh.
Training & Modalities:
I am honored to be able to provide the space for you to share your story, experiences, and hopes for the future. It is so courageous to share these parts of ourselves with others, especially while we seek to understand them.
I take into account all aspects of the person to find healing. I will work with you through identifying thought patterns, noticing how you experience emotions, and discovering different parts of who you are.
I'm currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. I am an advocate in the disability community, and I have been a case manager and community resource navigator.
I am an artist and crafter, and love experiencing music and traveling with my husband. I have two cats, Pixie and Jasper, that enjoy playing fetch and cuddles.
Training & Modalities:
I became a therapist because of the profound healing and personal growth I have experienced through my own time in therapy. I believe in the transformative power of slowing down, being fully present, and having someone genuinely attend to the thoughts and emotions that arise from our unique stories. My intention is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful changes that are aligned with your goals and values.
I work with individuals, couples, and families to address challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is largely rooted in trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and systems perspectives. However, I understand that each person is unique, and I am committed to tailoring my approach to fit your specific goals and needs. Together, we will explore the dynamics within your relationships and your inner world, recognizing that no problem exists within a vacuum.
While I have taken a few turns in my professional career, my focus has always been on coming alongside people as they seek to discover and develop their distinct identities. I have a particular affinity for working with adolescents. I spent 3 years working with teenagers as a part of a nonprofit mentoring program followed by 8 years teaching middle and high school math. I have always been fascinated by the patterns and themes that shape our lives. Helping others uncover their strengths and find resources to navigate life’s challenges is a passion of mine.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and hiking with my husband and dog, board game nights with friends, and playing the piano.
I look forward to meeting you!
