Therapy is not always an easy process. By working together, we can unlock the struggles and hardships which are causing you to feel like you are not operating at your best self. I believe that a healthy therapeutic relationship can really help an individual grow and change into the individual they hope to be.
I specialize in helping clients work through automatic negative thoughts as well as retraining the brain to be a more compassionate place. I teach mindfulness, self-awareness and enjoy finding the core issue which informs the core belief. I believe that together we can create a safe, secure environment where issues, problems and harmful inner dialogues can have a voice and move towards healing. It can be difficult to identify these negative cycles but together we can find a plan which works for you. Therapy looks different for every person but begins with the therapeutic relationship, trust and vulnerability.

Hi! I’m Madeleine (she/her). I want to begin by recognizing your bravery in taking the next step in pursuing counseling. I believe deeply in the transformative nature of the therapeutic process, and I am so glad you’re here. I view each session as an invitation to show up as we both are, and to create a therapeutic alliance centered around safety, exploration, and connection. I seek to emulate a trauma-informed, client-centered, and holistic approach to counseling. Each human has a valuable and unique story, and our stories are inherently impacted by a wide variety of factors both in and out of our control. The therapy room provides a safe space to explore together all parts of our stories, and to provide choice and empowerment within them. I believe in the resiliency of every human, and I utilize attachment work, narrative therapy, embodiment, parts work, and self-compassion to tap into that resiliency.
The therapy room is a sacred space, and I feel honored to sit with each client in their journey towards wholeness. I have clinical experience working with clients seeking support with anxiety, depression, spirituality, sexuality, attachment wounds, and self-trust. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health in May of 2024, and I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in English. I am currently working towards my LPC. I love to learn, and consider myself a lifelong learner. I have learned much in my career journey thus far, and am excited to continue learning in this next phase!
I feel most alive going on long walks outside, soaking up the sunshine, reading and learning, appreciating and creating art and music, traveling, and engaging in enriching conversations with those whom I love.
